So I've been using these mini evod ecigs especially for the fact that they are tiny and for in my pocket. They are convenient since it came in a kit of two 650 mah batteries so it was wonderful. Well that was months ago and I'm beginning to feel the urge to try a stronger battery mod. I'm thinking of the smoketech zmax mini and of course I need to get it in the color purple. The ones I have are purple now too. (I know, I'm obsessed with the color purple.
I tried one of my evod clearos on my fiancé's vamo v5 and the vape quality was 10 times better which made me pretty jelly.
Anyways, if you are thinking of making the switch from a smaller battery to a more advanced model, then definitely check out a lot of sites and reviews so you get the best deal. As well as getting what you want. I have been browsing for days before I found the right one. The best deal I've found is on madvapes.com and it comes with a charger.
Don't be fooled by those cheaper sketchy sites. I was tempted, but found that people reviewed their purchase and said it wasn't the real deal. Also, eBay seems to be selling them too, but when I looked at sellers feedback, I noticed some people didn't get their shipment or their product didn't last more than a week.
It's best to buy from a reputable site that offers returns or a warrenty just in case anything happens.
Photos to come soon!
My Guide to Vaping

If you are new to the vaping world, then you are probably wondering what the hell is this all about? What the heck are those electronic stick things that people are using in public? What's in them? How do I get started?
Well, I'm going to try and answer some of these questions along the way. I wanted to first post my buying guide for a first timer who is curious and may know a little bit about e-cigarettes. I have put some thought into this and tried to make it as easy as possible to follow.
I know I took it pretty slow in the beginning and had YouTube videos help me a long the way.
So hopefully someone out there can use this guide to help them get started.
I put links in the guide to websites I have personally used and still use that are tried and true. Everyone is different though so just giving some of these products a try is worth it because you won't know what you like until you try it. I've had my fair share of duds along the way, but that's okay because now I know what I like. Okay enough babbling for now, here is the info and I hope it's helpful!
For starters, I know it seems like a shitload of information to take in, but in time it won't seem like a lot. I started out with a basic e-cigarette starter kit that cost $100 dollars from a kiosk at the mall a few years ago. Now I've learned that it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to feed my nicotine addiction anymore. But seriously, take your time and start out reading this http://tasteyourjuice.com/wordpress/new-to-vaping/ and maybe look up some youtube videos and it will definitely help you understand better.
For starting out, you will want to try a beginner starter kit. I suggest Ego starter kit like one of these: http://www.hoosierecig.com/E-cig-Kits_c_19.html
I personally use the KGO 650 mah battery and all you have to purchase extra with it is the USB charger that plugs into the wall. Here is a link to it: http://www.hoosierecig.com/USB-Wall-AC-adaptor-500mAh_p_14.html
And here is the link to the battery I use: http://www.hoosierecig.com/KGO-VV-650mAh_p_250.html
I love it, it lasts 8 hours or more fully charged and as long as you don't drop it as much as I do lol, then it will last a long time too. I suggest down the road to buy another one because you will want a back up battery in case the other one dies and you aren't able to charge it right away. The best thing about this battery is that you can have it charging and still vape on it.
E-liquid:
http://dndvapor.com/DD-Liquids_c_1.html this site has some great liquids and you can choose from a lot of flavors. You can try a lot of different kinds for cheap. I suggest trying them in 10ml bottles and the nic strength at 12mg. If you feel like you want more nicotine, you can choose a higher level for next time. The PG/VG ratio means how thick or thin you want the liquid to be. I usually select 70PG/30VG. Some places offer a menthol option which is good if you like menthol.
I use the coupon code "ECF20" and it gives you 20% off your entire order which is a great discount. The site offers a rewards program as well and after you accrue a certain amount of points, you can redeem them to get money off your next purchase.
Other great sites for e-liquids, starter kits, and accesories:
http://www.ljesmokes.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=20_62 (a crazy selection of juices and great prices)
http://www.avejuice.com/ (best juices are gorilla juice and bobas bounty!)
http://www.mtbakervapor.com/ (delicious and very affordable prices!)
http://www.rawrvapor.com/ (very popular vendor and yummy flavors)
http://www.madvapes.com/ (easy to navigate site with a ton of products to choose from, cheap too!)
Cartomizers:
This is what you will need to put your e-liquid in. They come in 5 packs and only cost about 6 dollars and each one can last you about a week depending on how much you use it. Also, remember when you buy them to look up coupon codes because sites usually offer them and it can save you even more!
Boge and Smoktech have the best cartos. Definitely get them in 5 packs.
Smoktech: http://www.ljesmokes.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=15&products_id=471J
Boge: http://www.ljesmokes.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=15&products_id=323
These are the cheapest and more reliable ones I've found. However, from time to time you might get a "bad carto" that just simply won't work. But that's the luck of the draw with them unfortunately. It's been a problem recently with Boges, so you might like the smoketechs better. If you want, you can try out other ones-these are just the ones I prefer.
Drip tips:
This is the mouthpiece for the cartomizer that covers the top opening that allows you to drip in your e-liquid and vape freely. They come in many different colors and types. They are pretty cheap and you can find one easily on any of the other websites I mentioned. What I do is take out the rubber part that's on top of the cartomizer and drip my e-liquid inside until it is saturated. To be sure that the carto is full, you will notice a little liquid drip out of the bottom and that's how you will know it's full. You can blow out the excess from the top, clean it up and pop on the drip tip and go.
Atomizers:
I suggest trying an atomizer out as well. I use the Kanger t3 rebuildable atomizer. I like it because it holds more e-liquid and the flavor and throat hit is much better. As you get more into to vaping, you will find other tools that may fit your needs better. I love cartos, but my favorite right now is the Kanger atomizer. Here is a link to the one I use: http://www.discountvapers.com/kanger-t3-rebuildable-clearomizer-clear/
You will also need to purchase extra heads which is what you need to replace when the wick inside of it goes bad after about a week or 2 weeks of vaping. They can last a very long time and only cost about 5.98 http://www.discountvapers.com/kanger-t3s-mt3s-coil-replacement-5-pack-2-2-ohms/
You can choose which ever atomizer you would like to try such as these: http://www.discountvapers.com/brands/Kanger.html They are the best and most popular brand out there and they show customer reviews.
You can also find them at http://www.Sunvapers.com
Videos:
http://www.youtube.com/user/pbusardo This guy helped me out a ton when I first started. He's very entertaining and has a myriad of videos such as juice reviews and product reviews.
He also made the site http://tasteyourjuice.com/ and it has some great info.
There are other youtubers out there too that you can search for that you may find helpful too.
Forums:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ This forum is very helpful for any questions you may have and they also have coupon codes listed if you do a search for a particular site you are ordering from.
I know this was a lot of information to take in, but I wish I had someone to give me some insight when I started out. And if you ever need help, please don't hesitate to ask me. Switching to e-cigarettes has changed my life for the better and I hope it does for you too. Enjoy :)
